Take a long lunch and duck into the movies.. The Skinny
This is part of the Cleveland Cinemas chain, but you won't find beer, wine or fresh baked goods here. Instead, you'll find a decent, clean atmosphere to catch what's usually a very unimaginative selection of current mainstream films. The concessions stand features the basic popcorn-and-candy selections with grossly overpriced theater mark-ups, the lines are slow, and the average audience includes at least six people who feel the need to deliver a running commentary throughout the duration of the film you have just paid to see. Still, the cinema is convenietly located next to the food court?who'll notice if your trip to the hot pretzel place takes a little longer than expected?

The Theaters
Unfortunately, Tower City is lacking when stacked up against the modern wave of suburban stadium-sized movie houses. The screens are relatively small and the sound systems pale in comparison. At the moment, though, there's no competition in the downtown area, so it remains to be seen if these glaring faults will be corrected.
