This gleaming new representative of the Cinemark movie-house chain offers all the comforts of Hollywood..
The Scene
Opened in 1999, this stand-alone megaplex is still a secret to many northeast Ohioans.
It shouldn't be. The size of a large department store (or small mall), it encompasses 24 large-sized screens, booked at any given showtime with the most popular film fare available.
Now Playing
Everything first-run and mass-audience is fair game, like "The Sixth Sense," "Dinosaur," "U-571," "Any Given Sunday," "X-Men," "Hollow Man" and "Bicentennial Man," man.
Behind the scenes
The arena's location, just off a highway cloverleaf of Interstate route 480 and 77, makes it easily accessible for most of Cuyahoga County. One downside to the place is that local residents have complained about the brilliant marquee and building lights keeping them up at night.
Cinemark ValleyView. The Theater is great. Central from eastside or the westside. Food is kind of pricy, but has a small gameroom. Great selection of movies, a great first date place. Bring a jacket or sweater, even on the hottest of days, gets really cold in there!
It's Like Going To Hollywood. The Cinemark in Valley View had the most comfortable seats to sit back and watch a movie in because they reclined and had head rests. The theaters were extra big and had many special features. The decor was impressive. It was like going to a Hollywood movie premier. There were concession stands around every corner, which is very convinient. Even the movie screens are larger than a regular movie theater's. And, you never have to worry about not being able to see because there is a person sitting in front of you because all of the rows are higher than the next. Ever since I started seeing movies at the Cinemark, i don't even want to go to a regular movie theater anymore!
