Editorial Review for Century – by John Hyduk
In Short
Roomy booths, burnished Deco-worthy woods and little touches like back pillows and antique memorabilia from the glory days of the old Union Terminal set the scene. A well-dressed clientele retires to the cocktail lounge for a nightcap. Feel free to linger in the piano/sushi bar where the train keeps a-rollin' pretty much all night long. The seafood-dominated menu opens with Tabasco-laced shrimp cocktails and makes all stops up to, and including, a lobster roughly the size of a Volkswagon bus.

Dining at Century is the best experience in town. I go there not only for the food, but also for the service. The staff makes the experence for me every time. When ever I have guests in town the first place I take them to eat is Century. It's a great everyday place no matter what the occassion.
Pros: service, food, atmosphere
Cons: NOTHING

The Ritz-Carlton's Century is probably Ohio's leader in fine dining. The menu looks like it must be priced in japanese yen, but compared to NYC, Chicago and other bigger cities, it holds its own. The dining room and lounge are the most extravagant in the region. This is by all means a worthy contender for anyone's special occasion. The service is attentive and relaxed for such an elegant setting. The pace is moderated to make the guest lean back and enjoy those pillows while creating an unforgettable gustatory experience.
Pros: Food, Service, Decor
Cons: , price, price
