Great Music, Great design, Great Atmosphere. I've been to all the clubs in Cleveland for over 10 yrs. Mercury is still my favorite. I love how the club is designed. There is a cozy private area to the right when you walk in and the DJ spins straight in the back. The back area has cushioned like couches without backs and clear plastic block tables. People dance in the middle of the seating. The DJ's are usually willing to listen to you and their DJ's are good spinsters. I love how some people dress formal, while others dress ready to dance. On Sundays they have Mediterranean music intervals with belly dancers! When the belly dancers are dancing, only they are allowed to dance, and everyone throws dollars! It is sooooo cool! The DJ alternates between music for the belly dancers and everyone else. I've always found the bartenders to be very fast and very mixologists. However, the cocktail waitresses are sometimes very slow.

On West Sixth, all things cool revolve around this hot spot.. In Short
You can tell just by looking at the entrance that you may not be hip enough to take a step inside. Inside, its neo-Roman-meets-flapper-era all the way; yet the clientele's sense of style spans the 20th century. Draped over the funky furniture, staring into the countless mirrors, sipping tasteful (and strong) alcoholic beverages, are men and women wearing expensive suits and batik dresses. There are several lounge areas sectioned off from one another. They all have ample seating, though dancing on the highly glossed wood floors is encouraged.

User review by kyliecm. waitresses are horrible... stuck-up over what I don't know. bartenders are quick but very rude. I get treated better at a busy New York club than at this hole in the wall that they call a club (and they call new yorkers rude). way too much trash walking around at mercury.

Great to start the night with.... Mercury is a great place to start the night. The music is pretty good, the bartenders downstairs are great and quick, and the crowd looks good and is friendly. Considering the competition (none) - this is a GREAT place for Cleveland.

Better than most on W6th. I've had good&bad experiences here. The bartenders/servers DOWNSTAIRS do a great job and juggle the crowd, UPSTAIRS they dispense 'tude by the pound and wait on you when they're done flirting with the bimbo in front of you. Sometimes they have really good live music (particularly Latin) that rocks. One of the cleaner clubs on the circuit but the restroom is packed with shrill, catty, drunk women on their cell phones.
