Editorial Review for Fusion – by T. Katrina Ramser
The Scene
This is yet another chapter in local club visionary Terry Barbu's bar-tropolitan. This time it's aimed at high-priced showboating. This tapas-and-martini haven is a training ground for how to act, dress and spend when attempting to make your way into the West Sixth scene.
The Food
Chef Hayden Gill's trendy tapas, salad and light-entree menu features about 30 hot and cold selections, from baked brie to skewered beef tenderloin. Liquid Blue Potato chips are topped with bleu or jack cheese and garlic ketchup; the Buddha Potstickers are served over caramelized onions with three dipping sauces. Cheese and chocolate fondues are also offered, a culinary first for the Warehouse District. For dessert, try one of the 125 martinis: this is one of the most complete and fun alcohol menus in the city.

Worst experience ever. Creepy guys who expect something and offer contraband, which you would think wouldn't be able to get in with the 5 police checkpoint at the door. this is a place that should get a metal detector and frisk their patrons. Low class all the way.

I was very disappointed with the Browns pregame preparation 2 weeksago. Right away I felt bad for the waitress- they were understaffed and everyone was ordering offthe proclaimed "game day" menu. All 4 of us kept our orders very simple with grilled cheeses, but the waitress did not write them down. Not only did it take 45 minutes for the food, but ALL of the orders were wrong! When I brought them back up to the waitress, she apologized. After that, she once again brought out the wrong order!! To make matters WORSE, when I finally got my fries I grabbed a ketchup and when I cracked it open I was COVERED IN KETCHUP HEAD TO TOE as was everyone at my table. Apparently we were victims of the "ketchup explosion" prank with baking soda. While we were able to laugh about it, the whole experience at Fusion was terrible.
