Cafe Noir is just another coffee shop, but at least it's not Starbucks.. The Scene
Cafe Noir is a small, unremarkable coffee joint, set in what tourists' guides might refer to as the heart of Ohio City. Contrary to its name, it does not appear to have a film noir theme ... or any evident theme at all, other than that it's a place that sells coffee. But there are some very cool, dark and creepy paintings by local artist Jason Kraley hanging on the walls, and the young lady serving was sweet, friendly and apparently free of bizarre, inhuman behavior traits.

Food and Drink
The coffee is not particularly potent, but it's tasty enough. This is a refreshing change from many chain coffee shops, where the objective seems to be providing a legal alternative to amphetamines. There's an adequate selection of sweets for nibbling.
