You know what happened to the man with big feet? He had big shoes, size 17 to be exact.. The Scene
Doc Martin shoes and sandals are the main feature at this family owned and operated shoe store that has fitted the feet of Lakewood since 1903. What is best about the European sizes of Doc's is that these long-lasting tread and sole models are unisex. Newer models of sandals feature the "dune" bottom, even a bigger lift than the previous season. There are about 25 different styles, with regular prices around $100 and sales reaching $85. On the more conservative and comfortable side for women are Dexter, Hush puppies, Softsport and Footthrills. Men are provided with a varied work boot section with brands such as Red Wing Shoes (steel and tech tipped), and Timberland. There are sport shoes for both sexes, mainly Nike and New Balance. This is not a trendy shoe store, however, and brands are limited.
