so we went on a Wednesday night at about 8:45ish, we've been trying to go for months but havent had the chance. everything was really nice, the pretty girl sat us down, there wasnt a wait for a table without a reservation. the nice waiter took our orders - i got a burger no bread with all the condiments on the side due to food allergies, the waited even came by 10 minutes later to ask if i wanted ketchup. my dad got the chicken livers without the bacon - he's strict about not eating bacon and my mom got fish, nothing out of the ordinary. heres where it went downhill - we waited until about 9:40 to get our food, by that time there were 2 other parties left. so it took about 45 minutes to get our food. let me remind you, we sat down without a wait, without a reservation - and the place was maybe 1/4 to 1/3 full. so there shouldnt be any reason for the food to take 45 minutes to prepare. when we get our food mine was done to the T - no bread and all the condiments on the side. my moms wasnt a problem. then my dad got his - guess what bacon right on top. he sent it back without hesitating and told them to keep it and that he didnt want them to take off the bacon and bring it back. this was the worst service ive seen in a while. we finished our meal and left him an honest tip. not only will i not come back, i'll discourage people from going. they get great reviews, and i'll admit that my burger was good, but the service is inexcusable. Fire - you stink

The execution of the menu is perfect every time. Great brunch! Their fish dishes are terrific and the atmosphere is always hip. Great wine list and the appetizers are terrific. I also like the bread and olive oil. The bittersweet chocolate souffle is a great dessert item and the trio (which includes the creme brulee) is very good as well. The prices aren't cheap (about $100 for 2 for glass of wine, appetizer and dessert for 2 pre-tip) but I never feel cheated. I also like the Shaker Square locale; great place to hang out and relax.

The tandoori oven roasted bass, crispy duck confit, and brined pork chop were all fabulous tonight. I'd be a regular if I lived in Cleveland.
