In Short – In addition to organic produce, dairy items, meats, fish and bulk foods, this national chain prides itself on a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan products, herbal and homeopathic remedies, dietary supplements and full-service seafood, meat, cheese and deli counters. Those looking for specialty products such as wheat-free baked goods, free-range bison steaks or anything soy-based won't be disappointed.

This was my first visit to Whole Foods Market and the store has so much to offer as far as organic. I enjoyed browsing at all the fresh meat and fish. They also have cheese, wine and a counter where you can buy pizza ,fresh seafood, and was very excited to find a sushi counter with a variety of items. You certainly can't leave without taking a walk by the breads, cakes, and of course muffins. I traveled at least 45 miles to get there and the people that work at the store are all very nice, they gave me alot of ice to put into my cooler so that I could keep my meats and dairy items cold. All in all this is a great store and I for sure will be back.

My first shopping experience at a natural products store was made better by helpful staff. Great selection of products from fresh organic fruits and vegetables, to cleaning items and supplements. Meats look fresh. Clean store. Many sale items were not in stock though. That was disappointing. Overall good experience though.
- Pros: Excellent selection of products, Service, Parking
- Cons: Sale items not stocked, Busy location, No other locations available

The Extras:
Wild Oats is the first food retailer in the United States to replace its traditional plastic deli containers at some locations with a corn-based version (that's right: corn) made from an annually renewable resource (again: corn). The corn-based packaging can be returned to the store for composting.
