All great things come Hawaiian Size!!. The thing about Kimo's Sushi Shop is that all the portions are SO enormous!! I went the other day with all of my boys! We had these gigantic rolls and even pounded some Tyku sake bombs! Looking forward to the next boys night!

Ono!. Kimo's Sushi Shop has the authentic flavors of home that I miss, being so far away from Hawaii. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, and laid back. The Hawaiian decor is tasteful with Hawaiian music playing in the background unobtrusively. Service is prompt and very friendly, and the restaurant is clean.

As others have mentioned, the menu is diverse but not intimidating. Sushi is presented exquisitely and the flavors blend very well. I always order Kimos fresh spin on what is typically boring inari sushi. Last week Friday, I ordered the plate lunch and instantly became homesick! It included kalua pork (shredded pork with a smoky flavor), teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, kimchi, potato salad, chow fun, and haupia (coconut dessert). Ono (delicious)!

Love it.. If you don't like sushi or you are a bit nervous, the menu offers other great options. The soups are fabulous and there are a number of rolls that are great for a beginner. I've never had a bad thing when at Kimo's - and I'm there a lot! Prices aren't too bad. The only problem is without a liquor liscense, there is no Saki to wash things down! Cute, small eat-in dining room or else great for take-out!

Kimo's Sushi. Funky little shop in Ohio City, near Johnny Mango's. Owner Kimo Javier was born in Japan but grew up in Hawaii, so he call's his generous sized roll's 'Hawaiian Style". Best sushi in Cleveland, best Hawaiian music playing, serves some real Hawaiian dishes, great food.

Fabulous Fish. Great menu - very diverse and always something new to try. The soups are my favorite. Laid back atmosphere - sushi made in front of you and Kimo, the owner and chef, is there to answer all your questions. Good location, good prices, good selection. Great for the sushi lover or those trying it for the first time.
