A reliable favorite. This is my favorite restaurant to visit when we are meeting our west side friends. It is located in the center of town; perfect for eastsiders meeting westsiders. The room is very handsome with lots of wood and soaring windows. If you have a special occasion try the sommelier room. It is upstairs and adjacent to the wine cellar. We recently celebrated my mom's birthday up there and she was overwhelmed. The food was delicious and the the service is always perfect. The manager, Brian, has always been so helpful and friendly. You will not be disappointed.

Extraordinary dining experience!. My husband and I celebrated our 37th anniversary with our family at LockKeepers, and it was very special and definitely a memorable evening. The restaurant's decor is elegant and inviting and the service is remarkable. The waitress was friendly, helpful and made our evening perfect. The food is incredible from the appetizers to dessert choices. The scallops are heavenly and served with delicious asparagus risotto. My husband enjoyed the filet which was done to perfection. It was our first visit to LockKeepers and we can't wait to return!

food is average, overpriced. Good service. The daily special "white bean soup with truffle oil" tasted like blended lentil soup from a can and was a little too salty. The daily special of pork loin with spaetzl was only okay, pork needing a tad bit more salt. The dessert of lemon tart was good, but not spectacular, not worth the $10 a slice. My coworker had the cod wrapped in potatoes, and I could smell the fishy smell, she tasted it.

Lockkeepers makes any event special. I've always thought of Lockkeepers as "the place" for birthdays or anniversaries, but you know what? It was perfect for making an ordinary day a special event. The server noted our awestruck look when handed the 700+ label wine list, and sent the Somelier right to us. He made us feel at ease, and like we were very knowledgeable about wine (I'm not!). He must have waved a magic wand because the wine he brought was exactly what we wanted! I had the filet and it melted in my mouth! My partner had the lobster paella, and it was fantastic. The total bill wasunder $150 and was worth every cent. The service, the ambience, the decor -- which for Christmas looks absolutely stunning -- was all top notch. I can't wait to find another ordinary day that needs to be made special like that again!

I usualy don't like reviews like this, DO NOT GO!. This was by far and away the worst dining experience I have ever had. It was so bad we left before eating the main entree. It was the service and the way we were treated that was awful. We are not young looking and were better dressed than most people there yet were treated like 15 year olds and problems were handled in a very disrespectful manner by the hostess, waiter (who asked for our order every 5 minutes and denied wine service even after we had a copy of the ID e-mailed like he requested), and manager (the experience was so bad we talked to the manager and he made it worse). My date was sobbing as we left.
