Inconsistent Quality. Pho has always been a favorite of mine. In my Line of work, no matter where you especially big cities you will normally find Pho shops. Pho Superior to my opionion I found that their cleanliness is not very sanitary. The Basil is not washed very clean, bean sprouts tend to have a sour smell to them depends what time of the week you eat there. They place a high amount of msg in their broth & Alot of oyster sauce to give it that beef broth look but normally well made pho is made by well cooked beef bones to form the soup base. For the prices they charge I would expect more quality & and better sanitary solutions. You can tell they sometimes reuse the broth its not always fresh to my opionion. Thank you

not so great. ive always chose pho hoa over any pho rest. in the city for the past 6 years. lately it seems like they are changing so much. a big bowl of pho used to be 7$ and now they raised it a quarter which is not too bad but all i get is broth and a small amount of noodles and meat.

when you go on the weekends, its really packed and you just see one server running around. the owner and his wife are usually sitting out front watching tv while there are lots of customers waiting for their drinks or to order.

their food is also inconsistent. sometimes the food is good and flavored just right, sometimes its a smaller portion or the soup is very dull.

i also heard that the owner takes all the tips at the end of the day instead of splitting it with the kitchen and servers. i know a few of the girls who've worked there and they told me what goes on there. its unbelievable!

Best Pho from Cleveland to San Francisco. I am a plastic surgeon who trained in Cleveland and tried to eat almost every week at Pho Hoa (now "Superior Pho") because it was such a treat. When I moved out to San Francisco California, I was sure there would be great Pho in SF. I was wrong. How can it be that Manh can make better Pho in Cleveland than the best attempt by dozens of other restaurants in San Francisco? I don't know, but after years of searching, I can confidently say that the best Pho I ever had was at Superior Pho.

Excellent Pho. I go here for the Pho and the good prices. The Pho is the best of the three Vietnamese places I have tried here. The service as another reviewer noted can be a bit 'spotty.' This is not meant to be a fancy place rather it is a sit down with others at table, roll up your sleeves mind of small place with good food. The Pho has always arrived quickly and the owner -- if he happens to be out front -- is more than happy to discuss Pho with you and help you find one that will suit your palate. They also do Vietnamese style sandwiches on toasted french style bread. The pickled vegetables and Vietnamese style pork make these sandwiches probably the best in town and to make them even better the prices are really inexpensive. I like this plae a lot. It is clearly superior to Numebr 1 Pho and to Long Phung. Have not yet tried Minh Anh, but that is next on my list.

Bubble tea!. I came here specifically for the pho. The broth was all right but on the bland side and salty. I am very picky about my pho. I was served exactly what I ordered, which is often not the case at many restaurants when you specify "no <insert vegetable/spice here>" due to allergies or dislike.

The service is hot or cold (excellent or poor). The owner was welcoming and nice. My husband had to wait until the very end of his meal before he was finally able to get his bubble tea drink. He was rather displeased. Everything I ordered came promptly.

The bubble tea was fantastic! Not only is it fun, it tastes great! This is one of the few places where mango is really mango, and not grape, pineapple, 10 other fruits, and then mango. The other fruit flavors are the similarly good. The "bubbles" are large tapioca pearls.
