Worst Place.... I went there for the grand opening since one of my friends wanted to try it. We had to wait over 1 hour for a table at the hibachi grill with reservations. One of our friends ordered the steak and wanted it cooked med and they was served well done. Me and my wife ordered sushi but the worst thing is the server didn't know anything about sushi or the food, but any how we ended up ordering sushi and we couldn't touch it. The salmon sushi had such a fishy taste that after one bite I excused myself in the middle of the meal and went the the bathroom to discard the food. When we asked our friends about there food they just shook there head and didn't discuss the food until we left. We will never be going back.

Unsatisfied customer. I really enjoy hibachi style cooking, but was disappointed with the "show", there was very little to entertain, and it felt I could have had just as much fun watching anyone cook. The prices felt more like paying for 5 stars and getting only 3 star service and food. Portions were less than generous, especially for the price, I only ordered shrimp stir fry and I believe it was $16, I definitely felt ripped off when he finally gave me my portion. Saki was also priced very high, for what they called large it cost I believe $12, it was hardly enough to make me forget about how much the bill was going to be. Spent over $100 for two people and left feeling very unsatisfied. Good points I'll add, are, good sauces, decent soup, fair salad, open atmosphere, but bottom line was that value for money spent simply wasn't there. I'd recommend sitting at the tables in the dining section and forget the hibachi grills.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Hibachi tables and authentic Japanese food draws locals in for sushi, tempura chicken, shrimp and vegetables at reasonable prices.

User review by bb28. The thing is, ANY Japanese restaurant works the same way- hibachi tables are shared with other customers. If sharing a table is a problem for some, or if ther is a time limit to dinner, it is recommended that the cutomer dine at a traditional table.

The Hokie Pokie. I took a group of 5 the other night and was very dissappointed. If you order the hibachi they cram as many people as possible to a table, we were even asked to move to a larger table so they could fit more. The cooking doesn't start until the table is full - so 1/2 an hour 45 minute wait isn't unusual, one couple said they had been there an hour, and they had children with them. The food was good but not worthy the price (or the wait).
