Bought pizza and bread sticks here last
night and when I arrived home, I noticed the pizza was dry and there were items missing from the order, specifically the sauce for the bread sticks which I had asked for. After calling the manager and explaining the situation the following day, I was told by Heather that I could come in and get a new order of bread sticks. No apology from her or anything, just sarcasm and rudeness. When I came in tonight to pick up the bread sticks, Heather absolutely refused to give me the bread sticks and started making comments about how if they gave me the bread sticks for free, they would go out of business. Really? You screwed up Georgio's, it was YOUR mistake, and it is YOUR responsibility to make up for your horrible service with the customer.
After nearly 30 minutes of standing in the store trying to get a $3 bag of bread sticks, Heather finally agreed to give them to me, but not before mentioning that she is "best friends" with the owner who she identified as "Karyn Johnson" and that she wouldn't get in trouble if I complained about her. Maybe you won't get in trouble Heather but thankfully, nice little websites like Yelp and others are here to ensure that your crony business practices can't simply be swept under the rug.
I've been involved in business for decades and the first rule you and the owner need to learn is that the one customer you screw over and anger results in 5 or more people taking their business elsewhere. All over a $3 bag of bread sticks.
I will say, there was one nice employee working named "Mike" I believe who when the rude manager went in the back, apologized for the incident and said if it were him, he would have just given me the bread sticks. Unfortunately, he was overruled by Heather apparently.
So fellow Yelpers and potential customers, if you want to be treated rudely, called names, and mocked by a minimum wage manager who's "best friends" with the owner, buy your pizza here at Georgio's. And don't let the "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" label on the box fool you, your satisfaction is not guaranteed... the only thing guaranteed is you'll waste 30 minutes of your time to get something you already paid for and didn't receive, from a rude minimum wage manager who's "best friends" with the owner. Get real Georgio's.
