Attitude adjustment needed. Tried a couple of Tremont's establishments and was was so turned off by the rudeness of the barkeep at the 806 that we just walked out.

I hope management wakes up!

We had a great time at all the other places we visited.

New Vibe. I've been to this place in the past and they've made a lot of improvements since I'd last visited. The waiters were so nice and helpful to all of us and the drinks were great. The new look and excellent music by the DJ gave a totally different (and nicer) vibe to the place. It was a really good time to relax and enjoy yourself.

Great Drinks - Great Wait Staff - Tasty Popcorn !. We had a party of 12, and they accommodated us very well. Our wait-girl was very nice to us,and the drinks were great. I encourage you to take full advantage of the 806 Happy Hour. The drinks are at a special price. The wait staff kept out water glasses filled, and placed bowls of tasty popcorn on every table. Never had a problem with parking, as we had parked on the next block. As for the neighborhood, we came from the Detroit area, and while it's not in the greatest area, at least it's trying to break out and be a better place. I would highly recommend stopping in. I know I will, the next time I'm in Cleveland.

"Keep it up 806 !"

just plain bad. just plain bad...

- bad service

- bad drinks

-bad location (They don't have any type of parking other than on the street and I was afraid my car was going to get broken into. Definetly be careful if you go here...)

Not so impressive. My experience at the 806 was very dull. I ordered a glass of pino noir and it was pretty good, but I didn't need it to be served by a bartender with a bad attitude. My advice if you are looking for a good glass of wine: go elsewhere. You can enjoy the exact same glass of wine somewhere else and probably by someone with some manners.

Very Lazy Service. So, reading some of these other reviews, I have to say that my drink was fine and the price was fine. But it is a wine/martni bar so when you go to a nice place like this you expect to be treated nicely. I was very surprised that the man behind the bar was very slow and rude. He actually had the audacity to tell me, in a very rude tone, that he was "too busy" to get me a drink and didn't come back for about another 20 minutes. It was the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life and will probably never return.

cool place, great drinks. I'm a regular at 806, and I can't believe some of these bad reviews. I'm in two or three nights a week and the service is always great. I don't mind paying good money for high end drinks and tapas. All the new people I bring in love the place. It can get crowded and crazy on weekend nights, but patience is a virtue. 806 is progressive in nature, so I wouldn't go expecting an Applebee's experience. Usually, if I go in with a group, I'll call ahead and find 806 very accomodating. I recently saw where they won best martini and best wine bar in Cleveland. Keep up the good work, 806!

Going downhill. We have been going to 806 for years but will never go back after the last experience. The bartenders and manager were very rude and don't seem to realize that they are there to serve you. I would expect being ignored at a crowded bar on West 6th, but not when the bar is 10 ft long and you're paying $10 per drink. Then the phrase "I'm too busy" when you're trying to pay the bill does not seem very customer friendly. I think they need to realize that customers are why they come to work, especially when there are much better choices out there in Cleveland.

Get Real Drinks.. I have been a supporter of 806 for a very long time now. Firstly, one must realize that making a handcrafted cocktail takes more time than popping a cap off a beer. If you need a drink immediately, then this may not be the place for you. Also, please keep in mind that expecting 25 martinis to be made as soon as you walk in the door is just absurd. As far as the service goes I can't beleive what I read in the other reviews. The staff at 806 is by far the most capable and friendliest in the city, at least that I've seen. There's absolutely no reason to complain about the prices of the drinks either. 806 definitely has the heaviest pours in town. If you're going to complain about a ten dollar drink, just keep in mind that that $10 drink probably has three times the alcohol than a $5 drink you'll get somewhere else. Do the math. 806 is actually a great buy considering you may not be able to drink more than 3 or 4 drinks before you're quite intoxicated. In closing, 806 is not a beer and shot bar. It is a very high-end cocktail lounge that sets the standards for what cocktail lounges should be. Lack of patience will get you nowhere.
