In Short – This converted duplex (named, simply, after its street number) in a century-old Tremont block is a cozy wine and martini bar. The drink creations have scored highly in international contests, and Monday evenings (plus some weekends) are often given over to tastings and seminars for the connoisseur. Current plans call for the addition of a kitchen and a food menu; for now, 806 makes a nice liquid complement to neighboring restaurants.

Attitude adjustment needed

Tried a couple of Tremont's establishments and was was so turned off by the rudeness of the barkeep at the 806 that we just walked out.
I hope management wakes up!
We had a great time at all the other places we visited.

New Vibe

I've been to this place in the past and they've made a lot of improvements since I'd last visited. The waiters were so nice and helpful to all of us and the drinks were great. The new look and excellent music by the DJ gave a totally different (and nicer) vibe to the place. It was a really good time to relax and enjoy yourself.
