Outrageously expensive and very slow bartender. I sat at the bar with a few friends, and we were neglected for about 20 minutes. When the bartender finally got around to helping us, he was very unplesant. This is definetly not the kind of treatment you hope to get in a small, uncrowded bar. The drinks were bland and cost a lot. I will definetly not go back there and if you are reading this, please don't waste your time on the 806.

Terrible Service - Unprofessional Management. The service was very slow and rude - it took 15 minutes to get a drink and when the tab was inaccurate the staff, management included, was not receptive of my questioning. The atmosphere of 806 is nice but my recent troubles with the service is not worth another visit - even for a repeat customer.

Cute bar, terrible customer service and drinks.. The service at the 806 Wine Bar was terrible. Recently I had a birthday party there of about 20 or 25 people, so you would think they would be taking care of us pretty well since we spent a lot of money. But instead their service was very slow and we waiting nearly 45 minutes to get any drink service. To try to get around that, we went to the bar and the bartender ignored us for 20 minutes, I finally spoke up an asked for a glass of wine. About another 10 minutes later my wine came with a bill. When I asked to pay the tab he said he was too busy to take care of me. How rude! The service was not only slow but very bad and unprofessional. This used to be a great little hang out, but since this experience I will never go back. Not to mention you'll pay $10 for a vodka tonic.

What's in a number? Here, it's an upscale wine and martini bar with an impressive catalog.. In Short
This converted duplex (named, simply, after its street number) in a century-old Tremont block is a cozy wine and martini bar. The drink creations have scored highly in international contests, and Monday evenings (plus some weekends) are often given over to tastings and seminars for the connoisseur. Current plans call for the addition of a kitchen and a food menu; for now, 806 makes a nice liquid complement to neighboring restaurants.
