What People Are Saying About Winchester Tavern and Concert Club

In Short – This scuffed 1924 watering hole was formerly a bowling alley, but rock now rules at this West Side tavern. The beer can be warm, grub is limited to pizza, and the bar staff is maddeningly inattentive. But the concert series that debuted with a Leon Russell show in January 2003 is already legendary, drawing old school headliners like YES's Rick Wakeman, Bill Haley's Comets, and the Strawbs to this intimate setting.
