If you want the most high priced restaurant in Cleveland for a steak that is not as good as Outback go to XO. We ate here for a birthday and paid over $300 for two people. My wife had noodles and shrimp that had a real bad fish taste to it, and I had a steak with way too much pepper on it. The ceasar salads had so much dressing and the tuna app had an awful smell to it. We ordered a few dirty martini's the glasses all had lipstick on it. $40.00 for 4 drinks! What a rip off XO is!!!! Also there were only 8 people there that night at 7:30pm. The only place I would pay that kind of money for in Cleveland, Ohio would have been Circo on 9th street years ago.

We waited 30 minutes to be seated - with a reservation. We were asked to go to the bar area and wait. When we sat down at the bar - we were asked to move by "G" the bartender, as someone was sitting there - the whole 30 minutes we waited - no one ever sat there. It took our server 20 minutes to greet us. When we ordered the crab cake appetizer our servers response "there is only one on the plate". The surf and turf was not even mediocre - it was gross. It was a dry on top and raw underneath lobster tail, a tough filet mignon served on top of overcooked risoto with globs of mozzarella cheese and mushy tomatos mixed in with a creamy looking pesto globbed on the side - I sent it back - it ruined my appetite. No apology from the chef - my husband had fries with his steak that looked like they came from a frozen bag of fries. Ketchup served in a small gravy boat. The bathrooms were dirty, the stalls were coming unscrewed from the wall, couldn't lock the door because the locks did not match up, toilet paper dispensers broken. When we told our server we weren't going to pay for such an unsatisfying experience, we were told "if you don't pay, I have to pay for this and I have three kids to feed". We negotiated 1/2 of the bill with them and left. Will never recommend or eat there again. The service from the moment we entered was poor at best. We called the owner to complain and we were told "well, you can't please everyone". There was no on-site management. Way over priced for the service and quality offered.
Pros: The design and decor were beautiful
Cons: Service and food were horrible and resolution to a bad experience was nothing
