Went on a weekday around 1 pm with no wait. Quesadilla starter a meal in itself. Fresh coleslaw on the sides along with tasty fries and sandwich big enough to split..all fresh ingredients...will be back!! Great value for amount and quality of food.
- Pros: great food,extensive beer selection,outdoor patio,vegetarian
- Cons: can have long wait, parking
HORRIBLE SERVICE

The beer was AWESOME! On a Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm we waited 1.5 hours before actually eating anything. We waited 45 minutes to be seated and 45 minutes for our food to be delivered after ordering. The night before at 8:00pm the wait was 2 HOURS. There is a lot of open space where they could have more tables, thereby reducing the wait time. As well there is a great deal of time between when a table is cleared and the next group is seated (like 15 minutes), I had time to observe this over and over as I waited with many others to be seated. In addition I witnessed many people leave because of the wait time. The food was good but not spectacular, NOT WORTH THE WAIT. The beer was good but NOT WORTH THE WAIT. It was frustrating to watch how the inefficiency of the staff made the wait longer for everyone. If the place is as popular as it seems and the staff this inefficient imagine what it could be if they did everything they could to turn over tables and use their space well. Or perhaps, just perhaps it is time to think of moving to a larger location.
- Pros: great beer, good food
- Cons: HORRIBLE SERVICE, LONG WAIT BAD PARKING.
Really Busy, But Worth The Wait

My sister and I went to Melt on a Friday night and found that there was a 2 hour wait to be seated. We decided to at least stay and have a drink, since the reason we went was to try the huge beer selection. Luck was on our side because right when we got to the bar, a couple left, so we ended up with seats 5 minutes after walking in. But even if we hadn't it would have been worth the wait! Melt's beer list is 3 or 4 menu pages long. They even had Strongbow, an English cider that I LOVE, but have trouble finding in the US, so I had one of those and my sister had the even more delicious Pear Cider. As for the food, it was some of the best I've ever had in Cleveland. As the name suggests, Melt specializes in grilled sandwiches, all served with delicious, thick cut fries. I had the Monte Cristo (ham, turkey, american, and swiss) and my sister had the Kindergartener (basic grilled cheese) with garlic dressing added. Both of our sandwiches were amazing. There was the perfect amount of cheese and the bread was perfectly crisp. The food took a long time (seemed to see a lot of carryout orders coming from the kitchen), but it didn't bother us since it gave us a chance to try different drinks. Overall a great experience, though not someplace to go on the weekend if you just want to get in and out.
- Pros: International beer selection, great prices, big portions
- Cons: Limited seating, long waits on weekends, parking can be an issue
