Scripts has an entirely new format as of 6/30/12. They had just secured one of the best dj s in Cleveland about 2 weeks before that after years of suffering through DJ Mark Cox and his outdated and mostly bad and moody mixes. The following week they made people stand in line more than an hour and a half, and then let large groups of people walk in ahead of those who had been waiting because they said there was a party. Once inside the patio was locked for the night so the bathroom was so smoked out that you could’ve died in it. They didn’t t even want to open the VIP. DJ Durel was good but even he couldn’t t make up for the foul vibe that night. Overall though, the crowd was usually energetic, nice to have a patio since there is no smoking indoors, but staff is moody, one weekend you may feel very welcome and another they trip and leave the line standing there for over an hour even though no one is inside (so that they don t have to let you in free like the advertised free-before time?). Most of the time when they charged double or more because an artist was to perform, that artist did not perform and people ended up paying $40 for a regular night. This is why the club averages to 3 stars instead of say 4 or 5. Now, however, there is only one hip-hop night planned and that is going to be Fridays. They can still make it work depending on the dj now that the deck is remodeled you might not break your neck if you wear stilettos and there are more places to sit if you don t want to dance right then. There will be a Latin night, and international night and more open times during the week - and you should also note that the name is now Caffechino and has an additional new owner so as we all know that can always go either way. So long Scripts - you had a pretty good run and good luck Caffechino...

P.S. - the bathrooms are foul and I wouldn't eat there but it was mostly fun.

unprofessional/not classy. I have had many friends tell me just how nasty this place is. Mr.Lucic manages/maintains his rental properties in the same manner.............unprofessional and not classy at all.

hello ecoli...no thank you. Do not go here, they should be investigated for bacteria!!! The bathrooms smelled of old urine and feces was on the walls and toilet...nasty. The place was a dirty and I wouldn't drink or eat there based on filthyness of the club. As far as the crowd...outdated and stuck in a time warp. Go some place else...please don't go here, it's gross.
