Used 3 Times Now and Very Pleased.
I used to use DeliverMeFood and after a recent snafu - they took forever to deliver the food, didn't notify me and didn't even respond to my complaint - I decided to not give them any more business.
I've ordered from Food Fetchers 3 times and am very pleased. I like that they estimate how long the delivery will take right on the site, and they have always been on time or early. Even if it takes 2 hours, I like knowing that ahead of time.
The food has been hot every time and I got everything I asked for. Will keep using!
WORST SERVICE EVER. This company is the worst. I ordered and paid for food at 3 pm. The original estimate on the website said I should expect it around 4. I was called at 4 and told it would be at 5 instead. I wasn't really happy, but I said okay. 5 rolled around and nothing. I checked the website and the time had changed to 5:30, so I waited some more. I finally called them at 6 to see what was going on and I was told that the driver just picked up the food and would be here in 10 minutes. I waited some MORE and called back at 6:30 to cancel my order. I thought I was done, but the driver then called and said that the order had just come out, was still warm, and he could be at my place in 15 minutes. I was really hungry at this point, and I felt bad that some driver would get stuck with a huge bill, so I said okay. I was suspicious though, so I called the restaurant to see if that was right since FF website said the food was being prepared a little before 5pm. They said it had been sitting since then. I called the driver and FF and re-canceled my order. So not only did they take 4 hours to even be able to get me my food, they let it sit for 2 hours and tried to lie to me. WORST EVER!!!
WORST EVER!. This company is terrible. I placed and paid for an order at 7:00 p.m. The website said it would take 70 minutes to arrive. The confirmation phone call advised that it would be a two hour wait instead. It took over three hours for our food to arrive. When my husband called to politely inquire about the additional time an individual who identified himself as "John McGowan" stated he was the owner of the company answering phones via VOIP in Des Moines, Iowa and hung up on him. When we called back he was extremely hostile and kept remarking that we had only used the service five times. As if to indicate that you have to order a certain number of times to expect decent customer service. Mr. McGowan also stated that the times on the website

This review is after using food fetchers two times. Both times we were very satisfied. It took a little longer than an hour, but the restaurants we used were about 1/2 hour drive away from our house. The operator was polite and efficient when I ordered by phone. Everything was packaged nicely and the food was great. We ordered California Pizza Oven for one of the orders. I don't remember the other restaurant. It is hard for small businesses to make money and I don't find that their fees are too high for the service you receive. I don't happen to like sitting in restaurants and I find it such a luxury to have a variety of food delivered to my house. Everyone in the family can have something different. Imagine trying to cook this way. You save all that time and all those dishes. We will continue to use Food Fetchers and hope that our experiences will remain good.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! May 19th
I did not receive all food items. They also brought the wrong beverages. I called and a very pleasant woman told me that my charges would be lowered accordingly. They still charged my credit card for the full amount and after calling & emailing twice, I have had NO RESPONSE. They essentially stole my money. BBB is next!!
Really bad service. I used foodfetchers last night. I ordered food at 7:30 hoping to have it within the 70 mins that was stated when I placed the order. At 9:00 I called to see where my order was and was told that the driver had just picked up my food and was on his way. 9:25 came around and I still didnt have my food from a restaurant that was only 15 mins away from my house. So I called foodfetchers back to see what happened and was told that since there were other orders, they told the restaurant to have my food ready at 8:50??? I ordered this food at 7:30!!! why would foodfetchers tell the restaurant to have my food ready an hour and twenty minutes after I ordered it know that it would take 15 mins for them to deliver it. Also I had a $20 coupon that I earned from previous orders that should have been applied to this order. Well I checked my bank and foodfetchers not only authorized my card for the full amount, they also authorized my card for the discounted price! So now there are two authorizations on my card that left me in the negative because I only use this card for misc. stuff. And then not only did I get my food late, get double authorized on my card twice, they forgot one of the dinners and also the extra sauce that I ordered. I had bad experiences in the past with foodfetchers, but nothing like this. I will never order from them again. Horrible experience.
Get in your car and pick it up!!!!!. It took nearly 2 and a half hours to get Chinese food from Food Fetchers and when we would call to inquire they were rude. Their customer service is in another state somewhere in Iowa. The driver arrived and was rude the whole expierence was terrible. I used to live in Chicago and used CEO Deliveries and they were spot on everytime...I thought I was going to get lucky with food fetchers but they were horrible i'll never use them again.
Horrible Company/Terrible Service-DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!. I ordered $50 worth of gift certificates in early Dec. as a gift. As they are a local company, I thought I would receive them within 1-2 days. I didn't. I l left for vacation and stopped my mail, thinking they would be in the mail when I got back, they weren't. I called the company asking about them and they said "they are in the mail." (Really 4 weeks later, you are just mailing them?) Another 4 business days and another phone call went by and I still did not receive them. At this point I figured if they can't even mail pieces of paper, how can they deliver hot food so I canceled the order and asked for a refund. That was a week ago, I'm still waiting for the refund to show up on my credit card. If I don't get my $$ back soon, I'm reporting them to BBB.
