Best Pizza Surprise.
I have never gone to Corner Alley to really eat, but more to socialize and have drinks with a group. One outing we decided to order pizza and a couple other items. Well, I lost my mind because it was
the best pizza I can remember eating. I was in shock. I didn't have a chance to taste the other items because they were devoured quickly and I remember moaning about how good it was. Not more that 3 days later, my boyfriend and I were back to get more pizza. It's a 20 minute drive outside of rush hour and you have to find parking downtown. It was well worth it. They also make very good martini's from dirty to foo foo. Hands down the best pizza and I will go back many times to get more.…
Entree Chicken Caesar Salad at lunchtime.
In search of the best salad...
Corner alley is probably not best known for their salads. However, in today's day and age of people searching for healthy alternatives, it's important every restaurant have a good salad selection. My tasting of their chicken caesar entree ($9.99) had a nice portion of tasty grated romano, a barely-there layer of dressing and soggy croutons. The chicken was overcooked and dry, but fair in portion. The garlic baguette was either stale or over-cooked, so crunchy it would have made a better substitute for the damp rye croutons. The romaine lettuce appeared fresh, but dwindling in quantity. Service was very friendly and attentive, noting the off-hour timeslot. Understand that this is a bowling alley/bar/restaurant - but overall, don't get the chicken caesar unless you're looking for something extremely light.…
