The service in this restaurant is very good. However, I found the food to be poorly prepared and very overpriced for what I actually got. My salad was a cheap commercial salad mix (like you can get at ALDI) that had a small amount of watery "Japanese" dressing. The miso soup was weak and without tofu(!) and my yakisoba was floating on a sea of oil. It was obvious that the "chefs" had no clue as to what Japanese food looked, tasted, or smelled like. Indeed, a real Japanese chef would quit in shame if he had produced the slop that was on my plate. And all the oil in my dish? Let's just say that I paid nearly $20/plate for a laxative.
Pros: Good and Friendly Service
Cons: Poorly prepared, inauthentic food that's vastly overpriced.

This place was terrible. First, this website claims that it's located on W 3rd St (downtown), which is NOT the case. Once we finally figured out where we were going, we were extremely disappointed in the hibachi chef. He was horrific! He couldn't cook, distributed the food terribly, didnt know the difference between well done and medium-rare, and had NO tricks what so ever! The sushi was alright, but not worth how much it cost. At the end of the night, our bill was close to $100 and worth about $20. The only thing that saved the night was the couple sitting at the hibachi table with us. We took saki shots and had to take a cab home. If it were not for the alcohol, this place would have been miserable. My recommendation: get better chefs, better service, and a larger liquor selection (after 2 drinks they completely ran out of Jack Daniels). Oh, and tone down the prices... unless you actually get what you pay for.
Pros: large enough so that you didnt have to wait for a table
Cons: EVERYTHING; the chefs, the food, the service, the alcohol list, need i go on?
