A truly fabulous fabric boutique!.
Murray Hill Bolt & Spool, located in Little Italy's old school house, holds inspiration and craft projects for all who visit. The shop houses yummy fabrics from all over the world, Germany, Scotland, India, Peru, France, England, Italy etc., and gorgeous ribbons and buttons you can only imagine in your dreams!
A spectacular shopping experience, as the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and provide great suggestions if you "just don't know where to start!" If you're looking for special fabrics for a dress or skirt for yourself or for fun flannels for pajamas for your little ones, you will find it at this boutique. Gifts for all ages are a no-brainer at Bolt & Spool: sewing books, craft books, wool felting kits, patterns for adults and children, individual spools of Raffit ribbon from NY, Indian scarves, leather-handled woven market baskets...
They also specialize in wedding party attire and accessories- bow ties for ring-bearers, flower girl dresses, groomsmen ties, bridesmaid gowns, ring-bearer pillows, flower headbands, sashes to add to dresses- making your wedding one-of-kind! My own wedding party featured Bolt & Spool fabrics: my bridesmaids wearing beautiful Moda cotton dresses, the flower girl in a silk shantung dress, and a matching silk bow tie for the ring-bearer. I received so many compliments from our wedding guests on how wonderfully unique our wedding party looked- a great feeling made possible by this shop and its staff.

It's THE fine fabric shop in Cleveland!. There's something for everyone in this darling store. Elegant, unique, cute, fun, sophisticated, gorgeous, inspiring - you'll find exactly what you are looking for and, no doubt, a whole lot more. Perfect for craft addicts, fashionistas, and those who just love to support local business. Bolt & Spool is simply wonderful, and that has to be due to its proprietor, who's equally wonderful as well!

Always worth stopping in.... when I'm in the neighborhood. The space is so charming. You leave in a good mood. A big box store can't lend that intimacy. They are well placed within the art community of Little Italy. One of a kind fabrics and notions. Creative and knowledgeable staff to discuss projects and ideas.

more than just another fabric shop. What a fun little shop! They have so many beautiful and unique fabrics and notions you just can't find anywhere else. Even those of us who don't sew very much are inspired to be creative -- and they provide lots of help.The shop itself is a work of art and the staff is friendly and helpful. And of course the location - an old school building filled with lots of art shops and boutiques - adds to the charm.

Fantastic Fabric, ribbon, patterns, and more!.
I was excited to try this little fabric shop for months after coming across the blog some time ago. It took me a while to make it in, coming from the west side of the Cleveland area, but it was worth it!
Such a darling, quaint shop! And still many options! I can't wait to come back and buy more!
I found two fantastic patterns that I snatched up! One was an Oliver and S pattern that I had been searching for and couldn't find! So happy!
I also enjoy the ribbon choices! I have yet to use the two that I purchased, but love them! Just waiting for the right fabric to go with them.
All in all I had a great experience at Murray Hill Bolt & Spool. I loved my whole shopping experience, and especially my yard stick! I love knowing that there is a place in the Cleveland area that I can go touch and purchase many fabrics that are just not available anywhere else but online!
