Wholly undesirable dining experience

Visited Vieng's while in town and found it to be wholly unsatisfactory. The surly waitress and manager made just sitting down an uncomfortable experience.

Furthermore, the food (Pad Kee-Mao) came out overcooked, rubbery, and bland. The run of the mill greasy Chinese place in the neighborhood will certainly find you better served.

The atmosphere in the place is a sort of cloying horribleness when a large company tries to take on ethnic cuisine, but appeal to Yuppies everywhere. Intolerably bad elevator music gnawed at the edge of my senses the entire time, leaving me generally more irritated that I already was.

Bottom line, even P.F. Chang's is going to offer a better experience for the dollar. I, for one, cannot wait to get back to Denver for some decent Thai...
