very welcoming!. Same day appointment! So friendly, like they already knew me. I had very long hair, and was scared to cut a style into it. It had been 2 years since I had it cut. I sat down and Emily knew exactly what to do. She gave me extra long layers and styled it. She gave me ideas of how to fix my hair on my wedding day (in one week)! I am going back tomorrow for a full manicure/pedicure. Go to this place!!

Best Salon. On my trip up here from Memphis,tn. I was looking for a salon to get my hair done and I found Emily's Petite Salon & Spa. I was extremely pleased with the way she did my hair and the time it took for her to do it. I was in and out in no time at all and also got my eyebrows arched as well. I truely enjoyed Mrs.Emily doing my hair. I will surely go back before I return to Memphis.

best handicure this side of brasil!. i never got manicures before i started living in brasil, and ever since then, i have never gotten a manicure in the USA up to par with the brasilians..until Kym @ emily`s spa!

she gave what i termed a `handicure` - aside from prettying up the nails, i got a nice hand massage and treatment, great smelling and feeling moisturizers, etc...and we had some funny converstaion! kym is a competent professional and a great person, easy to get along with and good-humored. so book your handicure with her!

Nice salon. I go to Emily's practically once a week. I go to Kym she is great! I like that I never have to wait for long periods of time I can get in and out within 1 1/2 hours and my hair always looks good when Im finished. My styles always last longer than when I used to go to other salons. The atmosphere is also calm and relaxing!

I love my salon!. I have been traveling all the way from Sandusky, OH for almost two years on a weekly basis to have my hair styled by Kym Warren at Emily's. She is a stylist who is uniquely concerned about healthy hair and I appreciate it.

When I went to Kym I had hair passed the middle of my back, yes I had length, but it was not necessarily healthy. She took the time to nurture my hair, and rarely is there a day that I do not get a compliment concerning how beautiful my hair is. No one could possibly be as particular concerning their hair than me, but I trust Kym and her expertise, and she has proven to know her trade.

That being said, I think that if you are looking for a dedicated stylist, one who is dedicated to her craft, you should look to book an appointment. I love the atmosphere at Emily's. You walk in and you are made to feel at home! I think that was what Emily was going for and it has worked!Take it from me, it is worth the trip!

GREAT SALON. I was introduced to Emily's salon by a co-worker. I have had my share of bad experiences when it came to getting a hair stylist that was familar with my grade of hair. I'm mixed so it's hard to find someone who knows what to do with my hair. I went to Emily expecting yet another disaster. She made my appointment on a Sunday which she's normally closed but came in just to do my hair since it was my only day off. I got a relaxer and during the process I had my mind set on seeing lots of hair breakage and damage. To my suprise she did a great job no breakage, no burns or bold spots! This is an accoplishment. I have been going to her for over a year. Her salon is the Tremont area which is great because it's just 5min away from me driving that is. If you want a great hair do, and in a timely fashion YOU MUST go see Emily. She's the best.

Awful bikini wax. I've been getting Brazilian bikini waxes for nearly 10 years and the one I received at Emily's Petite Salon was hands down the worst I've ever received. The entire process was the most painful and drawnout I've ever experienced-- after 40 minutes, I actually requested that she stop because I couldn't take the pain anymore. The salon didn't appear to be very clean either, and Emily didn't wear gloves when she performed my wax.

Maybe the other services provided here are good, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it for a bikini wax.
