Dont sell anything here. I brought in 10.6 oz of .999 silver and was offered 220 dollars which was "top dollar". Laughed. Went to 650 gold in Brunswick (cost me 2 bucks in gas to get there and back) and they gave me 300 dollars without any haggle PLUS one oz fell out of my pocket in the car so they gave me a lot more money for less than what I tried to sell here. LOL

What an experience. I walked in not knowing how much my gold and coins were worth. Lyle and another guy talked to me and gave me great information about what i was selling and an offer to buy. Not knowing for sure i went to another place nearby and they were rude and the number they gave was far less than lyles. I went right back and sold my items there. I will tell all my friends and family that lyles is the place to go the medina area. Thanks, Shirl M.

I read these reviews and I am convinced that the negative ones are written by people who were having a bad day - (or felt their items were worth more .. when they weren't.)

I did much homework - tested a few gold dealers in Cleveland, Strongsville, and Medina, and chose Lyles of Medina. On numerous occasions in 2012, I bought, sold, obtained appraisals (written and verbal) and transacted at least 10 times with Lyle ... and each time he was personable, kind, knowledgeable, fair, and professional. I always felt I received a fair deal from Lyle.

I never met Lyle before this year - but after these 10 transactions I would recommend Lyles to anyone. Too bad the negative people do most of the blogging.. I suggest you take your items to a few dealers.. like i did.. and end up at Lyles... You will see what I mean.

Lyles, a pleasure to do business with. I've been doing business with Lyle for at least 15 years. Lyle is a good guy and fun to talk to. I'm surprised at the reviews. If you get to know Lyle you will change your mind. I have have NEVER felt ripped off by him. There are many other places to go to but I will stick with Lyle.

Lyle is a good guy. Don't let the negative reviews sway you. Visit with Lyle and you will see for yourself he's an honest guy.

WORST SERVICE EVER.. Lyle's is the absolute WORST place for customer service. Lyle is EXTREMELY unfriendly and not helpful at all. He has the worst demeanor I have ever seen. He doesn't care about his customers AT ALL. He gives you the lowest price possible and rips you off. If you are looking to sell your jewelry, please go to LaPlaca, which is two doors down from Lyle's.

I took two pairs of earrings and a necklace to Lyle's and he told me he would give me $30 TOTAL for them. I didn't take the offer and went to LaPlaca instead. LaPlaca offered me $115 for the same pieces of jewelry! It was amazing the price difference and definitely worth it to go two doors down!!

I can't even say this place is worth one star. It was the absolute worst I have ever been treated in my life. I did sell him some of my jewelry and I regret it completely. I went back in only 15 minutes after the transaction, asked him if I could give him back the check he JUST wrote me and then I would take back my jewelry. He told me that they mark their stuff up DOUBLE what they give their customers for it and I would have to buy everything back for double the price. TERRIBLE business model. He has absolutely no compassion and does not care about his customers in the slightest.

Please take my word for it and DO NOT go to Lyle's. Go two doors down to LaPlaca and you will get your money's worth AND have excellent customer service.

horrible demeanor. I just called to ask about appraisal services and was given abrupt one or two word answers about the availability of an appraiser and his hours. When I asked if there was a charge for the service he said 'sure' and when I asked what that charge would be he answered 'I don't know'. Really makes me want to go in with my valuables or ever do business with this company.
