Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
MMM Porterhouse. Outback has the best porterhouse cooked to your preference. The salad and dressing are excellent to the taste and the sweet potato is to die for. I love the wings and the blooming onion with dipping sauce. Basically Outback is the bomb!!!!!!!!
excellent. This is my families favorite. I could eat there every weekend and never get tired. I absolutely love the Alice Springs Chicken. The Ribs and Chicken combo is great too. The steaks are good, the Filet Mignon will melt in your mouth. I love the salad with Spicy Ranch that comes with the meal. And if you like onions, you have to have the Blooming Onion. When my 7 year old goes with us, we have to get the Fries instead, which has always been a hit with me, but you have to have the ranch dressing with them. For those who have'nt tried that combination, try it. For years My husband and I never used it as a dip, until we finally tried it, man were we missing out.
Used to be much better. My son (16) loves steakes and Outback USED TO BE his favorite place. Not anymore. We go there very seldom now. Steaks are not that great anymore - no flavor as it used to be. May be they don't marinate meat as before, or something. I myself liked this place, but now - it is a very average restaurant.
Not impressed. I will admit that the steak is good and has a unique blend of seasons, but for the price you pay it is not worth it. Their famous Blooming onion does hold up to it's reputation though. Overall I would not frequent this place just for an over priced steak, as well as a limited selection, expensive at that, as far as the menu go's.
What Happened ?.
This palce used to be good!!!
Since when does a Steak Salad come with pieces of Fat, ?
The server even told me the quality is not there anymore.
Too Bad, used to love the place.
Thunda'fumunda. Generous portions of prime rib. The seasonings really compliment red meat selections and the fillet's are so tender you can cut them with a fork!
Boomerang Me. The best tasting steak I have ever eaten ! Love the Bloomin' Onion and the house salad dressing is perfect.
Could be better. Outback used to be one of the best, but lately it is just mediocre and overpriced. The wait it too long and the food just OK.
warm and friendly.
Have only been there a few times. Each time there is an excitement while waiting for your table. I often meet people I know also waiting for a table with their familes.
The food is always cooked to taste and has been of good quality.
