They should be ashamed!.
These people sent my account to collections for a $20 charge that I paid!!! After I called and paid with my credit card, they took a few days to actually run the charge... when they did I had replaced the card because it got stolen. So of course, the payment was denied. Medical Data failed to inform me of this, and decided they would just send it to collections. When I contacted them, they didn't even apologize for damaging my credit and when I suggested they improve their procedures to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else, they were completely silent. I never got a response or even an acknowledgement! WORST customer service I have ever had in medical billing offices. I wish I could give them ZERO stars.
