Happy At Home Pet Sitting

Cindy saved my cat's life!. I have been engaging Cindy Hoppes, owner of Happy at Home Petsitters, for over five years and she and her company are truly gems. She comes twice a day to give my four cats their morning and evening canned food, and she also grooms them, plays with them, pets them, cleans their litter boxes, cleans their water fountain, and watches them for any problems. She also brings in the mail, waters plants, turns lights on and off, brings the trash cans in, and watches for any house problems.

During our last trip, Cindy noticed that Sam, our youngest cat, was acting strangely around the litter box. She felt there was something wrong and contacted me by email (she would have called my cell phone, but I was in England). After brief consultation, she took Sam to our vet. I told her to tell the vet I would pay whatever was required for his care, and she said if immediate payment was required, she would even put it on a credit card she keeps for this purpose.

Sam was diagnosed with a very serious illness, megacolon. If Cindy had not intervened, Sam would have died. As it was, she kept a flow of information between me and the vet until I could establish a phone connection myself. She visited Sam to comfort him while he was hospitalized and when he wouldn't eat, she brought him some favorite foods. She kept me informed and inquired after him after I got home and was able to bring him home from the hospital.

She saved my cat's life. I can't say enough in praise of her work.…

My dogs love to be happy at home!. Cindy and Chris Hoppes are great with pets. My neighbors recommended Cindy to me when I first got my Chinese Crested rescue, PT, and I'm so happy they did. PT''s very comfortable with her, when he's not with most people. Our older Bichon, Bo, absolutely adores her. It's so nice to know that we can be away for the day and trust that they are happy at home instead of in the kennel.…
