The Scene
Fowler's Mill has been rated the top public course in Ohio by Golf Magazine and that's reflected in the number of golfers waiting to play: Tee times are taken two to four weeks in advance. Aside from 27 holes split into three sections (including a complete 18-hole course), Fowler's Mill offers accommodations, a full-service clubhouse, a driving range, instruction, putting and chipping, a pro shop and rental clubs. Juniors golf free with adult companions on weekends, and there are price breaks for all golfers at 3, 4 and 5PM daily.
The Green
The 18-hole course is the work of celebrated designer Pete Dye, and offers plenty of slope and roll as well as excellent playing conditions in a beautiful natural setting. Players report that this 73-par course is very challenging, yet its natural elevation, creeks, marshes and Dye's signature use of railroad ties and layered bunkers make it a real treat.
