super people – got there early, from 30 min. away. Took my daughter, haven't been there in many years. Nice lady saw us looking in the window and opened the door for us. Said we could get a pizza to go, so we did. She was very talkative and kind. The pizza was great, just like I remembered it. Too bad we couldn't eat inside with the crowd that comes, that would have been fun. Would go back again, knowing the time it opens. YIPPEE, brought back memories and they are still good.
Over Priced, Dirty, Rude Staff, horrible experience – This place is way overpriced! The restaurant is this little hole in the wall and they charge you for a dinner at Merton's! The staff is rude, the place is extremely dirty. I had to use the restroom and saw things that I really don't want to put on here but a health agency would shut them down right away I'm sure.
The food isn't worth 1/20th of what they charge you. I mean c'mon it costs them about 25 cents to make a plate of pasta and they charge you out the wall for it! Do yourself a favor buy Ragu and have yourself a better tasting dinner for nearly 1/10th of the price and it won't have the dirt in it this place has.
It's A Waste Of Your Time – This restaurant has pretty good food. Everyone is cramed in together. Just last week we went and 5 of us had a meal which was okay and we spent $91.00. The small pizz was $12.00. The waitress said for a couple dollars more we could get a bigger pizza. That cost $20.00.
Quite tasty – The food here is great. The waitresses are very weird. Sometimes friendly but usually not. When it's busy, the patrons wait inside for a table and stand all around your table, sometimes with noisy kids and smelly clothing. The ambience is nil, the help is strange, but the food is good.
High prices-o.k. food – Heard that the food was great-it was all right-nothing spectacular. What did get me was the prices, bring lots of cash because they don't take plastic. A family of five could reasonably expect to spend nearly $100 (that's not a typo-I mean $100). Entrees are in the twenty dollar (minimum) range. Pasta alone is around $15, and when kids portions are In the ten dollar range you know it's over-priced. Will not got there again. I really can't understand what all the fuss is about. Sorry to be so frank.
Exquisit – I cannot find food like this anywhere. Incredible! I like 30 minutes away and will not eat pizza anywhere else.
worth the drive – We are Italian, and this is the only place where my husband will eat the pasta, the sauce is homemade and authentic, if you like eggplant, they have the best, also homemade rolls, have been going there for over 25 years, open only mon. through sat. at 4;00pm. til ? Mangia, Mangia
