Excellent Campground. This campground is awesome! We went here for a family weekend and we had a really great time. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the game room and doing gem mining and playing. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Perfect campground for a nice family camping trip. If you are looking for a campground to go to with your family this is the one to go to. The activities they had that weekend were really fun and kids enjoyed it. They have activities throughout the whole season for kids and adults.

NOT IMPRESSED. THIS PLACE SUCKS. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE OWNER (WOMAN) WAS VERY RUDE , THE DAUGHTER IS SNOTTY AND VERY HORRIBLE AT HER JOB SHOULD NOT BE EVEN ANSWERING PHONES THE ROADS IN THE CAMPGROUND ARE VERY POOR WITH GRAVEL MISSING. . WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING CAR PASSES WHEN YOU LEAVE THE GATE UP ALL NIGHT WHEN THERE NOT IN THE OFFICE.? THATS MAKING THE CAMP GROUND UN SAFE BECAUSE ANY ONE CAN ACCESS THIS WHEN THE GATE Is UP . SO FAR NOT IMPRESSED. THEY PRIDE THERE SELVES ON THE CLEANLY & WARM FEELING OF THIS PLACE I HAVE NOT YET FELT WELCOME , NOR FEEL THE WELCOMING VIBE. ! THEY COULD HAVE A LESSON OR TWO IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Best park in Ohio. I have to let everyone know that I've visited many campgrounds in the state of Ohio and this park is one of the best I've visited. What is really so great is how new everything is, clean and how wonderful the park looks. Know wonder why everyone wants to camp here, they have so much to do when it comes to activites and park ammenties. Can't wait to enjoy this park this summer!!!!!!

Totally Awesome!!!!. We cannot wait to go camping when the season opens in May. We love this place, the staff, all the fun things to do and the campers. We have loads of fun with all the activities they put on and the new beach resort is totally awesome! Can't wait to camp at AWC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Campground. Had to go to the Cleveland Clinic and stayed at this campground. Very convenient to Downtown Cleveland and a nice campground to stay at. Highly recommend it to other travelers with big rigs. Clean bathrooms.

Response from American Wilderness Campground. Fall of 2011 was the wettest in Cleveland, since 1900. Our campground was fortunate to stay open during the terrible wet season. Some campgrounds had to close down due to all the rain and mud. We cannot control the weather.

We have extremely high standards at our facility with cleanliness, professionalism and appeal. We are in fact a top rated campground with 8.5 appeal rating. Please be sure to check a trusted RV organization or Association, like Good Sam Park or Trailer Life for accuracy on campgrounds.

We love and appreciate our campers and do everything in our power to keep it a clean family park.

Great Campground. I was stunned when I read that people actually have negative comments about this campground. I'm the most honest person I know and this campground truly is beautiful, professional, clean and the best campground around. This placed isn't filled up with seasonals for no reason!!!! They treat their campers with respect and like family. You should check out the events and things they do to thank their campers for being apart of their community. Its really a shame when people have to be so jealous of a hard working family business that strives so hard to do everything right and the one campground around that keeps putting money back into it every year to make it better. Go there and see how wonderful it is

MudPit city. was truly shocked by how bad this place really was. First of all, they couldn't help the rainy summer, but this place was a mud pit. You couldn't take a pet to even walk on the driveway without both of you being all muddy. Prepare to pay to have your car washed everytime you go there. Place needs alot of work. Don't leave anything unattended or it comes up missing. Very high priced for what you get. No at all worth the expense or experience.

What A Joke******. The family and myself Was At This Campground over this pass weekend tent area. kids with very bad language Yelling at one another. I asked If they could watch there mouth please and was told F*U* ... the outhouse i all most puked crap all over the seat, wall, floor, sick .. then me and my wife was walking into the back part and was almost ran over by a drunk on a golf cart beer cans falling off on to the road. the smell of pot burning. just wasn't a very family type campground more of a party! party! Place.
