The Scene
The vast Slam Jams playground houses two bars, eight televisions and three pool tables, with plans to expand. A kitchen called the "On Deck Circle" serves baseball-inspired fare (Wahoo Wings, Strike Zone Zucchini Stix) till 1am, and nightly specials include a free Monday Night Football half-time buffet and cheap wing nights on Tuesday and Sunday.
The Crowd
Slam Jams is tremendously successful at satiating the voracious appetite of the local ESPN crowd. The large bar quickly fills up on the weekends with middle-aged locals warming their favorite stools and young upstarts congregating at tables. Gals can take advantage of complimentary drinks every Thursday and Saturday (hint-hint gentlemen).
