Dr. Kress is one of the most wonderful vets I've ever encountered. He cares more about helping cats than in making a profit. I only wish there were more vets like Dr. Kress, as he makes this world a much better place.

Dr. Kress was a nice guy. we had a baby kitten abandon under our side porch and i found him through a friend. ues the place smelled of cats but it was full of cats what do u expect? i dropped off the little baby and he tanked me for bringing it, i had called around to alot of other no kill shelters and no one could take it! but he did even with all the cats he has. he did not ask for money put i gvae him some to help the cost of the milk that he would have to get for the baby!

Do NOT take your cat here!!!. WOW! First of all, when I called to make an appointment I left him a message with my phone number and my work phone number, and he called me back at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and twice at my work! That should have been my first sign he is obnoxious. I had scheduled an appt. on Wednesday for the following Tuesday but had to cancel. (My dad wanted to take her somewhere closer to where he lives,) so I canceled 3 days before the appt., he called me back and said "Hi this is the Doctor calling from a snip in time, and I just wanted to thank you for being a complete waste of my time." Click. HE HUNG UP!! Then, I tried to call back to tell him this was completely unprofessional, and he hung up the phone. Can you say Temper tantrum? All I can say is thank goodness I did not take this kitty there....I have never met anybody so unprofessional and rude. And he lost a lot of business because I rescue many animals...I will never stray away from Gateway Animal Clinic again, as they are the best around.

Nice Place. The Guy - He was not rude at all , he was a little starange and shaky but I still trust him with my cats

The Place- It did look bad and gross but with all of those cats what place wouldnt?

Overall I think he will do a good job on my cats for a great price.

agree and disagree. i agree with both positive and negative reviews on this vet...yes, he is rude to the people, but he LOVES these cats. yes, the house smells and appears to be unsanitary, but the cats i have taken to him have never had any problems. he's a no BS kind of guy who is there to do the job you are paying him for, nothing more, nothing less.all in all, i would take another one of my cats to him. and again, he DOES NOT CARE FOR PEOPLE OR WHAT YOU THINK OF HIM. HE IS THERE TO HELP THE CATS AND THAT IS WHAT HE DOES

True Story about my cat "Foot". My experience here was nothing short of GREAT.

Quite a few years ago a stray showed up at my house. This cat was nothing short of a HOT MESS! He was limping, covered in flea bites, almost deaf because his ears were so impacted with flea crap, he had so many extra toes that he looks like he has 2 paws on each front leg, some of the claws on his extra toes were growing back into his pads, and he was bloated with worms, and wasn't fixed. After a week of feeding the poor guy I decided I couldn't see him be in pain anymore. I knew if I took to an animal shelter he would be put down, ( he was already about 5 years old and not much to look at), but I also didnt have hundreds of dollars to spend on a cat that showed up at my door out of the blue. I took him to A snip in time. Dr. Kress really cared about this cat. He understood the situation, and made sure that Foot got everything he needed. I'm GLAD he did because this silly cat that showed up so many years ago is still alive because of Dr Kress. Foot makes me smile every day, and I wouldnt have that if Dr. Kress didn't care about hime in the first place. No this place isn't fancy, but the Doc does care about the animals. Thats why here it is five years later and I will be bringing another HOT MESS that showed up at my door during a blizzard, to A Snip In Time. Foot now has a friend Charli, to play with and Im sure Dr Kress will take good care of her as well. His fees make it possible for someone like me to take in a stray from time to time, rather than dumping the animal off at a shelter where god knows what will happen to it.

Excuse Me?. The man that claims he owns this place is a liar, i called to schedule an appointment for my 2 year old female Persian Cat and this man said that he had 23 years of private Practice Veterinary experience and i looked on the Cleveland Better Business Bureau and there are like 5 complainants on this business just within the last 6 months, and on top of that this man that claims he has owned this business for 23 years just opened this business in '98 that was only 12 yeah its still a while being a vet but, the Bottom Line is HE LIED.... Well i gave it the benefit of the doubt and went to check out the place, and the place is FILTHY and it wreaks sooo bad, the man that was there looked to be eccentric and very shaky, he was not very friendly and the person who went with me had heard bad things about this place b4 but i wouldn't listen, so my friend asks if we are able to see where he does is operations before we even considering leaving MY cat there, the man refused to show us even the "office" and said we were too nosy for him to fix our cat, well i dont know what this idiot thinks but im not just gonna leave my little fur baby there with no idea if it will come back sick due to unsanitary dwellings, so we told the guy to forget about it all that we were going to go to a reputable vet that wasn't as shaky, because i wouldn't want a surgeon operating on me with shaky hands, and he got all heated (mad) because we decided to take our business else where, THIS PLACE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.... and it turns out i heard from a reputable source that the reason why he wont show where he does his "work" is because its a table top on top of a Rubbermaid storage bin.... IF I WAS YOU I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!

GOTTA BE THE WORST AND RUDEST "VET" IN THE STATE. I Called a Snip in Time recently to check prices on a Male cat Neutering, I had to leave a message, when my call was returned 4 hours later, I wasn't able to make it to my cell so it went to voice mail when i finally went on break and listened to my voice mail, what i heard shocked the hell out of me, the most meanest and rude man claiming to be a vet with 23 years of veterinary practice behind him, was screaming and yelling because he didnt like my voice mail greeting, ( i have a voicemail telling telemarketers to please not leave a message) he told me in this message "that i had too much baggage to for him to fix my cat, and to run on down the street to the next person and leave them a message to fix my cat.... for having 23 years veterinary experience he sure is not very professional, i have also heard bad things from people in the area about the place being filthy dirty, and the "vet" being very unstable. So i know i wont be calling this poor excuse for an experienced vet back, and i would not trust a poor defenseless animal in this quacks hands!!

A True Animal Lover. True rock bottom prices or below. Dr. Cress does what

he says and arrives when he says he will. He does not

sugarcoat or hold your hand. He knows his stuff and

is strictly business. I believe the prices he charges do

not cover even half the real cost of spay and neutering.

I highly recommend him to anyone with a feral cat problem

or anyone on a limited buget. Do not give cats to animal

control or humane society, all ferals will be put down. If you are willing to feed these creatures, save their lives and stop the population explosion, have Dr. Cress trap, neuter, spay and return the cats to your backyards for life. He is a saint in HOBO clothing. God Bless him and his good works.

A SNIP IN TIME. People need to get over THEMSELVES and stick to the reason they contacted Dr Kress in the first place. Its about who will care for the ANIMALS, not the humans egos. I called Dr Kress because I became the mother of 2 kittens who's siblings passed from the cold due to the mother moving them into a box i had on my porch waiting for Purple Hearts to pick up. My children found the 2 surviving kittens and brought them into the house. Even though I am allergic to cats and have 2 dogs, we ran to Petco to buy formula and bottles to try to save these 2 little ones, I found Dr Kress online and left him a message at 10:30pm. He returned my call the next day and even though someone just dropped 5 kittens off on him, he offered to take in my 2 new babies the following day. He asked questions about the babies and gave me pointers to help them until I could bring them to him after getting off work the next day. He was waiting for me at precisely the designated time, he went right to getting a bed together for them, told me he would feed them and do the "mothering" to keep everything in working order. He thanked me for caring enough to try to save them and never asked for a dime! I asked to give him a donation and he said anything would be greatly appreciated.... He was not rude, we handled the business I came in for and I felt very comfortable leaving these babies with him. Even though he probably had a very long day and more to do after he closed up shop at 7:30PM... he gave me a moment to say goodye to my little ones. He gave me his card and said to call to check up on them. I will tell everyone about how compassionate he is to the animals we entrust him with and will ask my friends and family to give their donations to his business because there are not many caring people like him willing to help so many kitties! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars for what he does and a muzzle for the people who can't get past their emotional/personal needs and who have a need to bash someone who is focused on their calling which is helping the ANIMALS!! I know there will be a special place in Heaven for Dr Kress!!
