Cozy, Old-School Steak Joint. Good cuts of meat and friendly service is what's kept people coming back to Ferris since 1940. Save room for the chocolate mousse cake.
Best Steak House in Town. Hands down the best steak house in town. I love the prime rib, my wife, the pork chops. They do things the right way with out ruining the meat with unnecessary 'rubs' or 'dust', you can do that when you serve the best cuts. Bruce and staff always make you feel right at home. Don't miss this gem.…
Loved the service and expereince. the dining experience was great. our server Diane was amazing she was very attentize and kind she made us feel like we were family. We loved her funny sense of humor. The atmosphere is so relaxing and warm weather its 100 degrees or zero degrees its always a comfortable place to be. As far as the food it was great proably one of the best steaks i have ever have there is no comparissson. The location is terrible as much as i like coming there the neighborhood is getting worse and if continues to get bad I dont t hink i will be coming down there anymore…
Not worth it if it was next door. Our last couple of visits to Ferris Steakhouse have been nothing less than gruesome. From the lousy service to the overcooked prime ribs, the reputation that Ferris once enjoyed is gone, at least from my perspective. This establishment has fallen into disrepair at all levels. Our waitress was not attentive and got much of the order wrong. The prime rib was not only overcooked but was so bad we had to send it back to the kitchen. My guess is that it was reheated in a microwave. We left paying for our salad, beverage and side dish. I am not sure why they have been receiving such high ratings recently, unless the place burned to the ground, was rebuilt and has new ownership. The experience was so bad during our last visit we made the choice never to return. Our last visit was in early 2008. For the price, this restaurant is a total rip-off and a stain on Cleveland?s reputation.…
Best Filet in Ohio. I have travelled the country for business and have not found a better prepared filet anywhere (including in Texas). When I was new to Cleveland a year ago, I stopped in and found the owners and staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Since that time I have returned on at least a monthly basis with visiting friends and family and they have all enjoyed the experience and especially the food of this fantastic establishment. Great food and great people ? Ferris?s is a can?t miss.…
