THE BEST STEAKS. Ferris Steak House has been the NO. 1 place in Cleveland for steaks for many,many years and still is. It might not be the fanciest but the food and service is excellent. Residents in Cleveland know where to go for the best steak and that's Ferris Steak House. I don't know how anyone can compare it with the Outback or Angelos. Really!

Best Steaks in Cleveland. The steaks and seafood are extraordinary. The service is great. The ambiance is unforgettable. I really enjoy eating at Ferris's. The food, people, and experience make this a restaurant to come back to.

Vegetarians beware: It's all about the meat at this extension of the landmark West Side eatery.. The Scene
The spacious dining room mixes families with the briefcase set, from lunch through after-dinner drinks. Across the small foyer, a sports bar pours local microbrews, including Settlers Ale and Buckeye Brown, to a casual crowd who'll sip through double overtime. There are always great people-watching opportunities with Jacobs Field and Prospect Avenue's bar strip nearby.

The Food
Filet mignon, pork chops and other beefy selections dominate the menu. Seafood selections offer many variations on the whole surf-and-turf angle. Detect a pattern? Vegetarians can make special requests. There's a tabbouleh and hummus platter, if you're looking for something on the light side. The cheesecakes and bread pudding are worth the indulgence.

Great place for a quiet dinner. I have eaten at ferris' many times over the years and I would give them an A1 rating. I have never had a bland steak and service is superb.

The Best In Town!. When you walk into Ferris Steak House, you are treated like family. Ferris has excellent food, fantastic service, and a unique ambiance. It is a landmark of Cleveland's Westside, situated in one of the older neighborhoods. Personally, I go to Ferris Steak House every week.

tacky. if you like flea markets this is the place to be! it screams update!! if you can get over the eye sore the steaks are wonderful. the service is a-1 the servers are very prompt and give a welcoming feel. poor things!!!!!!!! the owner is overbearing and rude especially when it comes to her staff!!!!! personally it makes me sick to see hard working peope treated in a less than human way tobad i wont be back because the food and service was great !!!

do not recommend. Althought the place is nice, the steaks are overpriced and BLAND. I went there a second time to give it another chance and found I wasted my money once again, I do not know why anyone gives it a good rating, the steaks are not good whatsoever, and very overpriced, I will NEVER go back

Be Sure to Order Jalapeno Pretzels!!. The jalapeno/cheese pretzels are fresh, warm and wonderful! We'll crave them when we go home to New Jersey.

Great burgers also.

Delicious. We had an enjoyable evening at this nice restaurant... The 14-ounce Cleveland Strip Steak($20.95) was very tasty and had its flavor enhanced by the side of Peppercorn Sauce ($1.50). Each steak comes with a sizable house salad and potato. The ambiance is comfortable and the service is quite attentive. I would recommend this to a fellow Citysearcher.
