In Short – This working-class tavern and restaurant is located up a little side street, hidden by the Lake Erie shore. It draws an upscale, gay-friendly crowd seeking views from the legendary alfresco patio. The interior boasts a beautiful, all-mahogany bar (salvaged from a 1930s cruise ship). For the palate, the cuisine--steaks, chops, seafood and creative garnishings--tend toward the mild side. Or, try the famous "cigar" appetizers, which include zingy wasabi-coconut covered spring rolls.
