The Best Little Vintage Store In Cleveland. I love this place, along with Flower Child it's one of the two best second-hand shops in all of northeastern Ohio. Sometimes the prices are high, my sole complaint, but you can find anything you're looking for from the twentieth century and beyond: appliances, books, clothing and accesories, furniture, on and on and on. It's large enough to comfortably shop while not being overwhelming, and forgoes the filth and overall dustiness usually synonymous with thrift stores. The owner always seems to remember me whenever I go in and, even if she doesn't actually know me, she is enthusiatically polite and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Some of the city's most famous vintage dealers have a "suite" spot in their heart for the place where they got their start.. The Scene
You never know what goodies you might find in amongst the Deco-to-mid-century furniture, clothing, jewelry, books, records and accessories at Suite Lorain. The merchandise is divided into consignment booths, each with its own vision of how to present and sell; overall, the shop tells stories of living rooms and closets, essentially confused about the era but in a very mouth-gaping spirit. Suite Lorian should be praised for its variety in selection and pricing, because its walls tell the oldest stories in the history of the near West Side Antique District.

Got the Time?
It takes time and a nook-and-cranny observation attitude, a large amount of authentic and faux merchandise wisdom, and the guidance of an inner shopping Buddha to get through the madness of all this vintage. But you won't be sorry if you do: Items recently seen on the Suite Lorain racks include Prada-looking reptile platforms ($18), Pucci dresses ($150), chenille bed spreads and fabulous Formica kitchen tables.

Use your head.... If something is glued together, you don't soak it in water. It's as simple as that.
