The Scene
For 35 years Hot Sauce Williams has beckoned Clevelanders to Carnegie Avenue by sending plumes of sweet smelling smoke into the ever changing skyline. An oversized barbeque outback provides the smoke signals that reach your nose long before this pink and blue building comes into view. This art-deco restaurant is a favorite of locals, construction workers, and clinic employees alike. Don't fret, you can also enjoy the fun-loving picnic atmosphere filled with smiling faces, and eat your Styrofoam wrapped delights on the same flowered tablecloths.
The Food
Two rules: Everything comes with sauce (except the coleslaw, which needs none); everything is packed for takeout. So don't look like a fool and ask for your fried okra to go. If that Polish Boy or Shoulder sandwich did not quite satisfy your BBQ needs, finish up with some sweet potato pie or banana pudding.

very over rated. the day i was there my ribs were cooked in an oven not out side on the pit..... i spent 38 dollars on ribs.......... i was so mad when i got home with these.... i could have made ribs at home if i wanted this taste. would not recomend

I'm a girl who's constantly on the go, but i'll always make time for good food if there is affordable prices and rapid service. At Hot Sauce Williams I've found just that. Hot Sauce is cozy enough to dine in with thier pink and blue decor while finishing homework, yet speedy enough to get take out in between classes. They also have call in orders to make the process even faster. The cashiers are always helpful, down to earth, and nice; the food is even better. The sauce is different, and in a catagory all of it's own. It so good I've put it on everything from tender ribs, to cheesy macaroni and cheese. It goes equally well on fries, fish, and chicken. I don't have a favorite food because " it' all good".
