Not sure if the place has changed for the worst over the past years (based on the good reviews) but my experience was one to remember... and for all the WRONG reasons. The man behind the register was working alone, irate and disrespectful! I have never experienced such rude behavior! In short, I'd never return! I'd rather buy a cone from McDonald's and get good service than visit this place again!

Wonderful spot. We just came back from a visit to The Big Dipper - wow ! Excellent service , great price for delicious ice cream ! Generous-size portions. Will definetly go back and try more varieties.

On site owner cares for customers. Two words: Mister Bill. The guy who owns and operates this place makes a trip to the Big Dipper worthwhile. He always has a nice thing to say, a new corny joke and the best ice cream around.

Best Ice Cream for the Price. Once you go here, you'll feel spoiled and wonder how you wasted your life trying out other ice cream shops.

Here are three reasons why this shop is my favorite:

1. Best Price. kids cones- 1.00. small cone- 1.65. You can't beat it.

2. Best Ice Cream- Every flavor is awesome! Better than others I've tried locally.

3. Great location. It's hidden away in a quaint neighborhood, surrounded by brick streets, and situated in an old shop.

You've got to check it out.
