The Scene
After-hours Cleveland requires a drive up Cedar Hill. At this Cleveland Heights restaurant, night owls are likely to tap a toe. This joint features live music and livelier food seven days a week. Stride piano might be the attraction one night, bopping jazz trumpet the next. Just up the hill from all that University Circle culture and the pasta ports of Little Italy, expect a diverse crowd eating to an unexpected beat.
The Food
The surprisingly American menu is big on portion size, but light on pretense: lots of smoked salmon, lots of cayenne and cream sauces, and a popular whiskey-laced concoction called a Dublin Lawyer (there's a story attached, ask the server). Opt for the steamed whole artichoke in a pool of melted butter with a side of dinner rolls and a Ketel One martini, extra olives.

If you love the blues, and want a great atmosphere to spend your time during Happy Hour, I highly recommend making the trip out to Night Town. They do have a menu for dining, but overall, as I live just up the street from here, I eat my meals at home and spend my night looking for good atmosphere's, and found it here, at Night Town. I highly recommend the staff and establishment to anyone... especially considering they have a live musician, generally playing jazz on a nightly basis.

This was Our First time to Night Town. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the entertainment was good. My dish was excellent The Chevrie Chicken- The Prime Rib was Asi Asi SO SO. We caught Janice and her trio- The entertainment was lovely.

I booked an evening there for 8 friends to celebrate a birthday. I love their outdoor dining; it created a great environment for the evening. The service was very slow, but they were busy (it was about 8pm). The server took at least a 1/2 hour to take our order. Dinner took 1 1/2 hours for to be served. My friend ordered the Chevre Chicken. After her first bite she thought it tasted odd and opened it up to look at the chicken. It was totally raw on the inside (looked cooked on the outside). The server saw it and immediately took it away and took her order for a burger instead. I was very surprised a manager or owner did not come to personally apologize. As far as the other food, it was good. There was a wide variety to pick from. I personally would not recommend dining there, but if you do, don't order the chicken.
