We had reservations at another restaurant, but stopped here after a stroll in Little Italy for a glass of wine. The servers kindly let us sit at a table outdoors (it was a beautiful evening). The wines we had were some we had not seen on other wine lists and were very good, and reasonably priced. We'd try this restaurant for dinner another time.

I have always wanted to go to La Dolce Vita. Little Italy is such a hotspot for restaurants and La dolce Vita is one of the reasons Little Italy is so popular! Genuine Italian food, good wine and a fine ambience! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. You can't go wrong!

You need to eat out on La Dolce Vita's sidewalk patio. Not only is the food excellent and the wine reasonably price but the people watching is superb! Plus there are occasional strolling operatic singers and the quite mumbles of Frank Sinatra being played from speakers throughout the street that all really get you in the mood for a great date-night. We ordered the Italian Wedding soup which...maybe it's regional? It tasted a bit bland and had egg in it...so it was different that what we were expecting, but still good. For entrees, we got the Gnocci with Felini Sauce and the Chicken Parmesan. Both were great! I especially want to recommend the Felini Sauce, it's a creamy tomato sauce with pancetta. It's heavy but delicious! The food was fresh, well flavored and very filling.

What a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday with out of towners. Food and wine were so good and Terry (the owner) made sure everyone was well taken care of. Great neighborhood, great time. Highly recommended.

I asked for a romantic table, and a very romantic table is what I got! The crab stuffed trout was absolutely amazing!! And our server, with his sexy accent definitely added to the ambiance! We will definitely be back.....again....and again.....and again!!!

I love their fried mozzarella. And even though it is no longer on their menu, the manager asked the chefs to prepare it with what they had. Fabulous service every time Im there. Lifelong customer for sure.

Great food and great waiter. We were delighted to learn we were there on opera night and the opera performance was wonderful. First time there...can't wait to go back!
