bad experience. The staff is polite, and professional, the room was acceptable for the price. This hotel is suppose to be for people who have loved ones in the clinic, or are having treatments at the clinic. The hotel was noisy beyond belief. All night long families from out of the country playing music in there rooms, or the entire lounge occupied. by one group of people and you were greeted by the sound of music from there boom box. So forget about going to the lounge to use internet the hotel is not wireless.. No place to sit, or have a moments peace.. In the morning the place was trashed cups, dirty plates all over the lounge area. Food in the furniture, forget about using the public bathroom. The staff informed me nothing can be done. . I am a patient person but had to go out in the hall at 12:30am and scream on these people my mom was there for heart problems and we drove from NY 7 hours . If you want to relax or have a good night sleep go some place else.…
Pathetic.
I would never recommend this to anyone. The first night while at the restaurant, my food was not cooked thoroughly. I told the waitress and she took the food back. She never returned! I paid for
the meal that I did not eat, which I will NEVER do again.
The first night, the wind was blowing the curtains in the room. We asked for a different room. The rooms were supposed to have queen beds but we had only double and the sheets were too short for the beds. I asked for them to replace them and was told all sheets were like that.
Then, there were the two nights of partying. We had to call front desk to have police come upstairs to get the people to be quiet.
Also, there was no internet at all in any rooms unless you sat by the window and just lucked up. I was told they would have wireless "maybe by the end of February."
All in all, it was horrible and I hate that I can't be there to tell others not to stay there.…
Very Poor Experience.
I can't remember a worse hotel experience. After getting up at 3 AM, driving 3 hours and spending the day at Cleveland Clinic, I was looking forward to getting into my room and taking a much needed
break.
It was 3:15 (check in was 3:00). There was a long line and only 1 girl checking people in, answering phones and taking care of problems.
Although we made our reservation over a month ago, our room was not ready. Almost no one's room was ready according to the lone clerk. The excuse was "housekeeping is inspecting your room, it will be ready shortly".
The reason this girl was manning the desk alone - everyone else was in a staff meeting. Why they would pick check in time for a staff meeting tells me they really don't understand the hotel business.
About 4:15 apparently the staff meeting was over and the place was inundated with staff. I voiced my complaint to a suited gentlemen and I had my key in hand within 5 minutes.
However, the two queen beds that I reserved turned out to be two double beds. There were two bath towels, one wash cloth and a bath mat.
I called the front desk to complain about the size of the beds and was told that there would be an additional wait for my originally reserved rooms - after the clerk and I were "accidenty" disconnected.
My husband went searching the housekeeping cart for the towels we needed, while another woman was looking there for the shampoo that was missing from her room.
The oxygen that was supposed to be in our room, was not. Another call, another wait.
As I am sitting here typing, I'm itching like crazy. Is it the bed clothes, the rug, the towels that arrived in a tied bag?
We will have to return to Cleveland Clinic because my husband needs a lung transplant. But we will NOT be staying at the GuestHouse.…
Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Very Pleased!. We stayed here overnight and found the staff very polite and accomodating. Rooms clean and well stocked. Free continental breakfast, no lines to wait in as well as seating. Will not hesitate to stay again. Very safe w/ campus police everywhere.…
