This is the worst in the state and the best at hiding it. My family member lived in the nursing home and I urge you to avoid this place if you truly love your family member. And I strongly urge you to find another place. Staff is basically incompetent and lazy. Go there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and you will find the staff in a break room reading magazines, eating and having a great time while patients are left on their own. Many of these patients are in wheel chairs sleeping in their own excrement. And it does stink. My family member constantly had bruises where it appeared he was a punching bag for someone's anger and it wasn't another patient as most on the floor were feeble. We'd vist and find feces in the room that appeared to have been there for most of the day. We found excrement on clothes that supposedly had been laundered. Excrement on slippers and shoes. Complain and nothing, absolutely nothing gets done. 6 pair of eyeglasses LOST. Dentures misplaced for weeks. Every week a phone call that he fell out of his wheel chair. These people are masters at coverup and they have so many excuses that it just beats and wears you down. We finally moved our family member after the police suggested we get him out of there. We called the police after we had visible proof (photos) of abuse and the hospital concurred. And while you may find glowing reviews of this place it's a hell hole that absolutely no human being deserves.
