it really is an absolute hidden treasure in the midwest. the collection is one of the best and the exhibits are world class. for 2 days of adventure, take time to visit the natural history museum located in the same oval, great fun for the kids!

Worth the money? IT's FREE!

wow- a free museum-adn a great one at that-you can't beat it!!!!! It's a wonderful, clean and big museum. take at least a full day-if not two to appreciate all that they have to offer. Take a picnic lunch and sit out in the beautiful gardens!
- Pros: FREE!!, beautiful
- Cons: not in good area, lock your car, better yet take metro
