Founded in 1930, the spectacular Cleveland Botanical Gardens boasts more than 3,000 herbs, plants and shrubs growing on 7.5 acres of lush, landscaped grounds.

The University Circle site also showcases photography exhibits and readings by area poets. It keeps one of the country's largest garden libraries, including a special children's section, where pre-schoolers enjoy garden-themed storytelling sessions.
