Overrated!. I hope you enjoy the view because it's all downhill after that! This used to be a good restaurant but has slipped of late. They brag about their steaks and seafood but can't hold a candle to Hyde Park Grill or Morton's. Very disappointing!

Love the food, not crazy about the change!. We have been Pier W customers for years and we love it! The food is great and the service is as well. The only thing is the remodel they did recently. I don't care for the new atmosphere! It is ultra contemporary, which is quite different than what it used to be. BUt still in my top 5 and always a favorite!

A Special Dining experience. My wife and I visited Cleveland for the first time and chose Pier W for a romantic dinner. We made the right choice. The most beautiful view of Cleveland's skyline complimented the knowledgeable, courteous service, delicious, beautifully presented food...all in a recently rennovated, elegantly decorated restaurant. Even the tableware was interesting and handsomely contemporary. We wouldn't consider a return to Cleveland without reserving a table at Pier W.

With fresh shellfish and a picturesque view, this may be the most romantic spot in town.. The Scene
Perched on a cliff on the ground floor of a luxury lakefront condominium, Pier W is the ultimate dining room with a view: Sailboats glide, power boats race and gulls pester just beyond the edge of your fork. Two generations have come to hold hands, nibble shrimp cocktail and toss wishes into the water just the other side of the luxury-liner windows.

The Food
Pier W brings more to your table than a sunset. The kitchen's strategy is an exercise in simplicity: Procure the best ingredients (mostly finned or shelled) and serve them elegantly prepared and unadorned. The grilled sea scallops come with braised spinach, a swordfish steak is kissed with tequila butter, and meaty Lake Erie walleye is deep-fried in a cracker crust. Classics like bouillabaisse fill the dining room even on dark, rainy days.
