Okay, I regularly buy rounds of shots for my friends, but the shots were $8 a pop for a CHERRY BOMB! Wow.... Don't go to this bar, it's totally overrated and not worth the money at all, the staff is slow and there was no music playing while we were there. I wanted to leave anyway but then I got my bill and it was over $100 for 2 rounds of shots I bought for 5 of my friends. Go a couple doors down to a different bar for less than half the price. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!! Never going here again.

Around and Around. Tried it twice and two bad experiences! First time sat at the back bar and had to wait 10 min for a bartender. After that the bar had No Miller Light beer?? Ok, ordered the fperch dinner which was good. Went to pay and this place doesn't take American Express?

After a few figured hey the fish was good try it again - BIG MISTAKE. Walked in bar was fairly empty. Sat down and a waitress says "That Bar is closed" oook went to go the back bar and the door was locked. Another waitres said only the outside bar is open. Ooook again, the outside bar was packed. Was looking to order dinner and the white plastic bar stools didn't look appealing. As my son and stood there kind of dazed a "waitress pointed and said "hey there's two seats in the corner". At that point I said never mind and walked out.

FRIDAY 3/16 6PM 3 BARS - 2 CLOSED; REALLY??, WAITRESSES STANDING AROUND BUT CAN'T OPEN A BAR; REALLY?

DON'T WAST YOUR TIME!

Beware!. Be sure to check your billing statement on your credit card or bank account after running a tab at this bar. Four friends and I were all charged twice for the amount of our individual bills before tip. I called to let ATC know about the error (for the other people at the bar I didn't know) and was told each person would have to find the error on their own and contact the bar to remove the second bogus charge. My bank removed the second charge so I don't care too much. This just does not strike me as a trustworthy way of running a business and I will never run a tab there again.

However, the enclosed patio still rocks and you can smoke out there!

Horrible customer service.. We began the night with dinner. The food was pretty good but the service was very slow and when we confronted the waitress about one of our dishes being wrong she basically did not care. After dinner a few friends showed up and we decided to get some drinks. After a few hours at the bar my wife and I were presented with a $107 bar tab. We tried to talk to the bar tenders about the obvious error and were basically ignored. There are a lot of bars in Lakewood I would steer clear of this one.

Between the live local music, great patio and drafts, this is the ultimate Lakewood bar to unwind from the week.. In Short
During the frostier months the space seems tiny, but warmer weather finds the patio open--and crowded. Local bands (mostly cover) play within while patrons down Dortmunder, Coors, Killians or any of the other 11 beers on tap. For fans of local music, this is the place: Bands in the jukebox include Third Wish, the Swing Lizards and Put-in-Bay's own Pat Dailey. The bar has booths and tables at which decent bar food is served. Burgers, wings and tacos top out as the reigning favorites.

I love Around the Corner!. Around the Corner is great if you know what you are going there for. If you want to meet new people, run into your high school buddy and have some good beer and laughs, Around the Corner is perfect especially in the summer. Since moving out of Cleveland it is always my number one spot to go out when I am back visiting.

boooo. Yeah this is a great place to go if your not in the military stationed 1000 miles from home. Me and about 5 of my friends who are all stationed in Ohio for the time being decided we wanted to try this place out. They would not serve us because we did not have ohio IDs even though all of us had an out of state license and a Military ID. They even went to the touble of throwing one of my friends IDs on the bar floor before the manager told us to leave. Great place way to treat your nations military personal!!!!

fratboy pukefest. around the corner is great if it's 12:30 on a monday afternoon , other than that , to loud , to crowded and to little personality . bands aren't that good and usually too loud , bad sound , the patio is nice if you want a bucket of burgers and a beer in a plastic cup . I can say that the staff is friendly and usually helpful . but don't bug them if it's saterday night .
