With a name like Borderline Cafe and the fact that it happens to be stationed directly between two cities (Lakewood and Rocky River), one might expect this restaurant's ambience to play on the locality issue; instead, it goes for a timid Southwestern theme. So how does the cafe not lose out in a personality competition? Three words: stuffed french toast.
The Menu
That's two thick slices of bread with an amazingly sweetened cream-cheese center, topped with a mixture of blueberries and strawberries. Perfect. The rest of the menu is limited to breakfast combos, omelettes, Southwestern specialties, bagel sandwiches and other light fare.

Borderline serves a low-fat french toast that is amazing. The use egg-whites and a touch of orange zest to give it a terrific taste
